MISSING: Gintare and Giedre Palaimaite
Police are appealing for the public’s help to locate two missing teenage sisters.
Gintare and Giedre Palaimaite, 15 and 14 respectively, were last seen at their home on Hawkshead Drive, Middleton at 8.00pm on Sunday 8 May 2011.
Both girls previously went missing on 22 April 2011. Gintare went to London and Giedre went to Norwich before returning.
It is thought both girls could be in Peterborough.
Detective Sergeant Graham Hook, said: “I want to appeal directly to the girls to come home or hear from anyone who knows where they are.
“Your father and the police are concerned about your welfare and I want to stress that you are not in any trouble.
“Running away certainly is not the answer and it is important you let us, your family or a friend know that you are safe and well.”
Anyone with information about their whereabouts is asked to call Rochdale CID on 0161 856 4644, or the independent charity Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555 111.
